The successful candidate will contribute to the development of mathematical models and metaheuristic algorithms to address complex optimization challenges involving the integration of production objectives with energy management, including the selection and use of various energy sources and storage solutions.

Requirements

– Master’s degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Business Engineering, Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field– Strong motivation for pursuing doctoral research in the specified area– Proficiency in English (B2 level or equivalent certificate, or proof of English as the language of instruction for the master’s degree)– For diplomas awarded outside the European Union, a certificate of equivalence (NARIC) is required, or proof of application for such a certificate– Do not include reference letters; referees will be contacted directly if necessary
