Job Description

Next Gen Forecasting Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Vision & Strategy:

    Define and set the vision for real-time/continuous forecasting capabilities. You will establish baseline analyses and define current and future states using both traditional and emerging digital technologies.
  • Process Transformation:

    Identify areas that would benefit most from

    automation, AI

    , and

    ML

    . You will also identify and drive the necessary process and governance changes to transition from batch to continuous forecasting.
  • Leadership & Collaboration:

    Lead and provide hands-on guidance to staff supporting various projects. You will closely partner with business teams, Accounting,

    FP&A

    , and Digital Technology & Innovation (

    DTI

    ) to define and implement proposed changes.
  • Technology & Expertise:

    Partner with the

    DTI

    function to support both existing and new finance platforms. You will serve as the local financial systems and financial data subject matter expert, supporting local teams with questions and global teams with centrally delivered financial reporting.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    Support the implementation of technology solutions within the Finance organization and contribute to a learning environment. You will also support the local adoption of

    Anaplan

    for operating expense planning.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree with 4-6 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience, or a Diploma with 10-12 years of experience in Finance.
  • A consistent track record of launching new finance capabilities.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with finance reporting, planning systems (

    e.g., Oracle Hyperion/EPM, S4/SAP, Anaplan, Tableau/PowerBI

    ), and

    ERP

    systems.
  • Knowledge of financial management and accounting principles.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry is a plus.
  • Experience with recent technology advancements in finance transformation is highly preferred.
