Executive- Vendor Accounting- Freight

As a Vendor Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include: - Processing vendor invoices with accuracy and compliance to company policies - Creating service entries in SAP upon receiving tax invoices - Verifying service entry vouchers and obtaining authorized signatory approval - Checking invoices against supporting documents provided by plant officials and coordinating with user departments for clarifications - Ensuring timely parking and posting of invoices in SAP - Managing the vendor portal for invoice processing - Collaborating with accounting and commercial heads for exceptional invoice approval and discrepancy resolution - Assisting in reconciling vendor accounts promptly - Coordinating with the GL accounting team for posting provision entries in the ERP - Maintaining a tracker for statutory compliance related to ESI and PF for service bills and sharing it with relevant stakeholders - Coordinating with scanning officials for document archiving at the plant - Providing administrative support to the vendor accounting team, including data entry and document management - Working with team members towards achieving departmental goals and objectives In terms of qualifications, you should have: - 1 to 5 years of experience in accounting or finance - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Preferably hold professional certifications in accounts, finance, or P2P Your competence should include: Behavioral skills: - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a team environment Functional skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word - Basic understanding of accounting software and ERP systems Technical skills: - Quick learner with adaptability to new systems and processes - Basic knowledge of financial documents and terminology - Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP and vendor portals This role will provide you with the opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a dynamic environment and contribute to the efficiency of vendor accounting processes.,
