Job Summary: As a construction based company, We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as Transport Incharge. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of proven expertise in managing drivers and equipment operators, overseeing vehicle operations and maintenance, ensuring compliance with transport regulations, and coordinating with project sites to meet their logistics needs efficiently. Key Responsibilities: 1. Driver and Operator Management Supervise day-to-day activities and performance of drivers and heavy equipment operators. Prepare and manage duty rosters while ensuring discipline, punctuality, and safety. Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations. 2. Vehicle Operations & Maintenance Oversee vehicle deployment, routing, and fuel efficiency across projects. Ensure timely preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs to minimize downtime. Coordinate with workshops, service providers, and internal teams for smooth operations. 3. Tax & Statutory Compliance Maintain accurate and updated records of vehicle documents including registrations, permits, PUC, insurance, and road tax. Ensure 100% compliance with transport-related statutory and regulatory requirements. Liaise with RTOs and relevant authorities for renewals, inspections, and documentation. 4. Site Coordination & Requirement Fulfillment Understand transport and logistics needs of various project sites and provide prompt support. Act as a single point of contact between the transport department and project teams. Ensure seamless communication and coordination to avoid operational delays. Required Skills & Qualifications: Graduate/Diploma in mechanincal. 4-5years of experience in transport or logistics management, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or heavy equipment sectors. knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fleet operations, and regulatory compliance. Strong in stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in MS Office and Transport/Fleet Management Software.
