Job Title:

Taxation Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable

Taxation Executive

to manage the company s tax-related activities. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations, handle direct and indirect tax filings, support audits, and provide advice on tax planning to optimize efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, and the ability to work collaboratively with finance and audit teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file

direct and indirect tax returns

(Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.) in a timely manner.

Ensure

compliance with tax laws

, rules, and regulations at the state and central levels.

Assist in

tax assessments, audits, and inspections

by government authorities.

Maintain and update records of

tax payments, liabilities, and documentation

Monitor changes in

tax legislation

and provide updates/recommendations to management.

Support in

tax planning and advisory

to optimize tax efficiency and reduce risks.

Liaise with external consultants, auditors, and tax authorities as required.

Prepare tax-related schedules and reports for

statutory audits and internal audits

Review financial transactions and ensure proper

tax deductions and compliance

Assist in preparing

management reports

on tax positions, risks, and strategies.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

direct and indirect taxation laws

(Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.).

Familiarity with

tax software, ERP systems, and MS Excel

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor s degree in

Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

(Master s/CA/CS/ICWA Inter preferred).

2 5 years of experience

in taxation, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.

Knowledge of the latest

tax amendments, e-filing portals, and compliance procedures
