We are hiring for AR Callers & SR. AR Callers for Chennai Location

Role & responsibilities

• Charge Entry:

• Accurately enter patient charges into the billing system based on services rendered.
• Verify patient information and ensure accurate coding of services.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any details regarding services rendered.
• Ensure timely submission of all charges to optimize revenue cycles.
• Adhere to billing and coding compliance guidelines, including HIPAA regulations, insurance payer guidelines, and government regulations.

• Payment Posting:

• Accurately post payments received from insurance companies and patients into the billing system.
• Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Explanation of Remittance Advice (ERAs) for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and document any discrepancies or denials in payments.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of payments to patient accounts.
• Verify all EFT deposits and scanned checks have been posted by month end.

• General Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records and metrics related to charge posting and payment posting activities.
• Prepare reports and analysis as needed, highlighting trends, discrepancies, and performance indicators.
• Prioritize workload effectively to ensure timely and accurate charge entry and payment posting.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude, contributing to a positive work environment.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field (e.g., medical billing, healthcare administration) preferred.
• 1-5 years of experience in medical billing, charge entry, or payment posting.
