Executive - Purchase

As an Executive - Purchase at Sigachi in Hyderabad, your role involves managing the sourcing process to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials and packing materials. Your responsibilities include evaluating and qualifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support the organization's operational needs. Key Responsibilities: - Manage procurement of raw materials, packing materials, and services for the company. - Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure best quality and price for goods and services. - Evaluate vendors, negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and terms and conditions. - Prepare RFQs, obtain rate quotations, and create a comparison sheet for best rate, quality, and lead time. - Implement and maintain effective purchase documentation such as purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to incorporate their needs into sourcing strategies. - Follow up with vendors for all purchase activities and urgently required materials. - Monitor inventory levels to optimize inventory management and minimize stockouts or excess inventory. Job Specification: - Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations within the Nutrition sector. - Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements related to Nutrition and Pharmaceutical procurement. - Strong negotiation skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Pre-requisites: - Qualification: Any UG/ PG (Relevant Degree) - Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in Purchase of similar materials.
