Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Exposure to HVAC products required in Marine application will be an advantage

Responsibilities:

Track Indents in consultation with Project Manager.
Follow up with design team for technical RFQ
Float enquiries and get quotations for various items.
Negotiations and price finalization with Project Manager
Prepare and Release Purchase Orders
Prepare and Release delivery schedules
Tracking manufacturing progress of Supplier by visiting Suppliers (as required) and expedite / improve deliveries
Arrange pre-dispatch inspection calls from supplier to meet the delivery schedule
Co-ordinate with Supplier and Inspection agency to conduct inspection
Follow-up to clear the inspection of materials for timely dispatch and delivery to Customer
Take up with supplier for any customer comments regarding delivered items and arrange for warranty repair or replacement by supplier.

Qualification & Skills:

The incumbent must have
B Tech/BE degree in Mechanical Engineering
with minimum
3 years experience in the field of HVAC.
The person must be a good team player. Should have good communication skills in English ; verbal

communication in Bengali and Hindi will be preferable.

The person should be energetic and enthusiastic
Should be well conversant with Indian supply chain system ,logistics process including intra as well as inter state transactions
Should have fair knowledge about import, customs clearance process
Should be willing to travel anywhere in India as per purchase functional need
The person should have a fair knowledge of Computer operations and be able to handle ERP/MS Office/E Mail etc.
