Job Purpose: To register new patientsattend queriespre-authorization of requestclaimsbill recovery. Job Responsibilities: Registration of New / Renewal of the file of patient. Attending all the queries of the In-patients / out patient and their relatives or guest regarding the discharge and final bill amount in the hospital. Different types of outpatient billing like Yeshaswini / Suvarna / Arogya Raksha / Vajpayee Billing will be raised at the time of discharge. Pre authorization request will be sent to the respective scheme office for the approval of the concerned treatment (surgical / medical) All the inpatient bills will be sent for the claims to the respective scheme office. Cheque entry to be done in the registers once the claims approval from the scheme office is received. Candidate Requirements: Verbal Ability/Communication Skill: Ability to comprehend verbal instructions given by the supervisor or head of the department. To give accurate and tactful explanations to patients. Problem solving/ Decision-making To think independently and exercise own judgment. Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision. Ability to comprehend written instructions given by the Doctors and the other related departmental personnel. Ability to plan & organize ones work schedule effectively. Speaking and listening are essential requirements to understand and carry out the instructions given by the supervisors and other related departmental personnel. Affinity to work in team. Enthusiasm.
