Job Description

You will be responsible for the following tasks in the Supply Chain department: - Troubleshooting DCS IO Panels and resolving issues effectively. - Maintaining and calibrating field instruments hands-on. - Understanding and interpreting P&ID and electrical circuits. - Familiarity with different types of field instruments and electrical components. - Basic knowledge and practical experience in DCS/PLC programming. - Performing PM & Calibration tasks as per schedule and keeping accurate records in SAP & CMMS. - Following SAP workflow for engineering processes meticulously. - Conducting inspections as per SMS / EMS requirements and keeping detailed records. - Generating reports and communicating effectively with the relevant block in-charge. - Implementing initiatives such as 5S and TPM for process improvement. - Ensuring daily checklists for machines are completed and coordinating with shift representatives for job prioritization. - Handling permits and LOTO procedures for jobs ensuring safety protocols are followed. - Providing insights for breakdown analysis and supporting in implementing CAPA. - Coordinating with AMC service engineers for any abnormality in weighing systems. - Compiling daily breakdown reports and entering data accurately. - Assisting in preparing PPT presentations for improvement initiatives. - Monitoring various safety-related activities in the field.
