EXECUTIVE I/II - SALES ENGINEERING

As a frontline sales personnel for waterproofing products in project sales segments, your role involves: - Identifying, indexing, and reviewing market potential for waterproofing products in Project Sales, focusing on geography and key accounts - Generating leads through direct project site visits and engaging with stakeholders like Project Sales Officers, Applicators, and Dealers - Conducting site inspections, making proposals, and including sampling to convert sites - Focusing on product mix and ensuring product addition in the Basic Order Quantity (BOQ) of the site You will be required to provide technical assistance pre and post sales at project sites related to waterproofing products. This includes undertaking on-site sampling for waterproofing products to build customer confidence. Your responsibilities also include market development by identifying and engaging with medium to large waterproofing applicators, consultants, etc. to expand and upgrade the market. Building long-term relationships with stakeholders through regular product training and on-site assistance is crucial. Additionally, you will need to brief products and systems with Specifiers and Consultants to generate business. Training Project Sales Applicators on the practical application of waterproofing products at regular intervals is essential. You will need to coordinate with the Marketing function to send out collaterals and relevant training material to the Applicators. Your role involves assisting the Marketing function in conducting product trials and building inferences on APL product strength compared to other products in the market. Identifying non-APL business stakeholders and converting them to APL accounts through product demonstration initiatives is also part of your responsibilities. Moreover, integrating with the Research and Technology function for new product development based on feedback of product trends in the market is required.,
