Executive Finance & Accounts

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Finance & Accounts professional with strong experience in managing accounting operations within a hospital or healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Management

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including billing, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, trial balance, and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in accounting software (Tally / ERP).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Perform monthly and year-end closing activities.

2. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor departmental expenditures against approved budgets.
• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.

3. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and professional tax.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual returns.

4. Payroll & MIS Reporting

• Oversee payroll processing in coordination with HR.
• Generate and present periodic MIS reports on revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Track outstanding payments and follow up for timely collections.

5. Banking & Cash Management

• Manage bank reconciliations and petty cash operations.
• Liaise with banks for fund transfers, deposits, and financial documentation.
• Maintain control over cash flows and working capital.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) / CMA preferred.
• Experience: 3–10 years in Finance & Accounts, preferably in Hospitals, Healthcare, or Diagnostics industry.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Hospital ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and numerical aptitude.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Excellent MS Excel and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Timely closing of books of accounts.
• Accuracy of financial statements and reports.
• Compliance with statutory deadlines (GST, TDS, etc.).
• Cost control and budget adherence.
• Audit completion without major observations.
