Executive - Electrical Engineering

The primary responsibilities of the role include: - Taking charge of maintenance activities for equipment, sub stations, gates, and fire pumps, encompassing proactive, preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance. - Responding to breakdowns, conducting fault diagnosis, and rectifying equipment malfunctions promptly. - Identifying root causes of operational issues through thorough observation and troubleshooting. - Demonstrating expertise in SIEMENS PLC and Drive systems. - Possessing foundational knowledge of Kaizen, Lean, Root Cause Analysis, safety observations, Near miss activities, Job Safety Analysis, and Equipment Isolation. - Developing and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Risk Assessments. - Implementing maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability with minimal downtime, all while strictly adhering to safety protocols and performing preventive maintenance during ideal equipment conditions. - Acting as a supervisor for repair areas, promptly addressing reported hazards. - Maintaining comprehensive records of breakdowns, Preventive Maintenance (PM), and Corrective Maintenance (CM) for the shift. - Creating Preventive Maintenance Documents for equipment based on their schedules and executing them through the Planned Maintenance Software. - Prioritizing issues based on severity levels. - Conducting routine inspections and checks on Emergency Equipment such as Generators, Fire systems, and Yard Flood lights. - Ensuring strict adherence to the company's health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. - Undertaking any assigned tasks or responsibilities from superiors and promptly reporting any equipment abnormalities. - Reporting unsafe conditions in the Terminal or work area. Qualifications & Competencies: Qualification: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or Diploma Experience: - Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in heavy lift equipment, container handling equipment, or SIEMENS PLC and Drives. Additional Competencies: - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. - Strong communication and report writing skills. - LMV/HMV License is considered an added advantage.,
