We need a forward-thinking, data-driven writer to dive deep into user intent, out-research competitors, and craft content that both readers and search engines love. No sugar-coating: you’ll be expected to challenge assumptions, think ten steps ahead, and deliver content that drives real results. Key Responsibilities In-Depth Research: Analyze top-ranking pages, SERP features, and related queries. Identify primary, secondary, and LSI keywords—then layer them naturally into your copy. User-First Content Creation: Write clear, engaging product descriptions and article pages that answer real user questions. Structure content with scannable headings (H1–H3), bullet lists, tables, and visuals. SEO & Google Compliance: Optimise title tags, meta descriptions, URL slugs, and image alt-text. Apply E-A-T principles: demonstrate expertise, authority, and trustworthiness. Avoid keyword-stuffing—focus on quality and quantity. Performance Tracking & Iteration: Monitor rankings, click-through rates, and average page time, and traffic. Use analytics insights to refine content and improve performance. Continuous Learning: Stay up to date on Google algorithm updates and SEO industry trends. Bring fresh ideas to the table—because what worked yesterday might not cut it tomorrow. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience). Exceptional writing and editing skills in English, with an eye for detail. Demonstrable interest in SEO—courses, certifications, personal blog, or self-study. Skills & Attributes Analytical Mindset: You question the first source you find and dig deeper. Research Savvy: Comfortable using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz. Basic HTML/CSS: Enough to tweak headings, links, and on-page elements. Communication: Strong collaboration skills with designers, developers, and marketers. Time Management: Juggle multiple assignments and deadlines without breaking a sweat.
