Executive Case Research Centre

• The applicant should hold a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration / Management/ Economics or Social Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks from a reputed Institute or university.
• Minimum 6 years of overall work experience, with at least 3 years of post-qualification work experience in the case centres/research centres, etc., of any higher education Institute or a private business school.
• Experience at IIMs/IITs/NITs or any other premier Institution is desirable.

• Manage industry collaborations for sourcing case leads and relevant materials.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive digital repository of case studies.
• Ensure quality assurance and adherence to international publication standards.
• Plan and organise Case Writing and Teaching Workshops, Faculty Development Programs, Conclaves, Case Conferences, Case Competitions, and other related events.
• Establish and manage collaborations with academic institutions to serve as Academic Partners of the Case Centre.
• Promote IIM Nagpur case studies through academic networks, newsletters, and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Case Research Centre.

• Faculty Support and Case-Based Research

  Handle data collection, industry coordination to enable faculty members to focus on case writing, pedagogy, and innovation.

• Industry Outreach Engagement

  Regular case collaborations with corporates strengthen ties with industry, leading to new partnerships, live projects, and consulting opportunities; demonstrates IIM Nagpur s commitment to bridge the gap between academia and practice.

• Events, Conferences, and Conclaves

  A dedicated executive can drive the case conferences, conclaves, and workshops, positioning IIM Nagpur as a destination for case pedagogy learning, thought-leadership; such events directly enhance outreach, media coverage, and branding.

• Institutional Branding Visibility

  Publishing high-quality cases in global repositories (Ivey Publishing, HBP) enhance IIM Nagpur s visibility among International B-schools; well-documented, India-centric cases.

• Global Academic Positioning

  Regular contributions to international case libraries elevate IIM Nagpur s profile globally; build a foundation for faculty exchanges, joint research, and international collaborations.
• Any other task in the relevant department as assigned by the Competent Authority from time to time.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal, and proven multi-tasking abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to interface with internal faculty, external faculty and other key stakeholders for the smooth functioning of the case research centre.
• Excellent IT skills with expertise in PowerPoint, Word, and Google Applications (Gmail, Drive).
• Exceptional proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros).
