Job Description

Job Summary:
Executive Accounts will support the accounting team by overseeing day-to-day financial operations, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Reconciliation:
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Perform reconciliations of accounts (bank, general ledger, etc.) and ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure that financial reports are accurate, timely, and in compliance with regulations.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Prepare and review vendor payments and ensure timely processing.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment discrepancies.
  • General Ledger Maintenance:
  • Assist in maintaining the general ledger and ensuring accuracy in posting transactions.
  • Help with journal entries and ensure proper documentation for audit purposes.
  • Tax Compliance:
  • Support the preparation and filing of tax returns (GST, VAT, income tax, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for audits and assessments.
  • Internal Controls:
  • Monitor financial processes to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes.
  • Audit & Compliance:
  • Help prepare for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure all accounting practices comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Other Duties:
  • Perform any other accounting-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
  • Participate in special projects or process improvements as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance
  • Professional certification (MBA, PGDM, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
  • Good communication, Email drafting and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
