Job Description

As an EXA DBA + OCI, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Exadata Cloud Service ExaCS database solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining database architecture strategies to support business goals - Leading the migration and integration of databases across multicloud database environments including Oracle Cloud AWS Azure and Google Cloud - Ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of database systems - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement database solutions that meet business requirements - Hands-on experience with migrating large databases to Exadata ExaCS ExaCC platform - Designing Database consolidation and reducing OPEX spending - Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior database architects and administrators - Conducting performance tuning, capacity planning, and security assessments - Staying updated with the latest advancements in database technologies and cloud offerings - Implementing and managing Exadata X9 hardware including persistent memory PMem and RDMA algorithms to optimize performance and reduce latency - Deploying and managing Exadata X1110M98 hardware leveraging its scale-out high-performance database servers and intelligent storage servers - Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting experience in areas like RAC RAT testing ASM Exadata Performance tuning Data Guard Physical and Logical DG Broker - Experience in database security TDE Audit Vault OKV etc - Experience in OS administration Linux Solaris virtualization storage ZFS ZDLRA You should have 5-10 years of experience in the field. The job type is C2H, with a hybrid work mode and immediate joiner's notice period of +15 days. This role will involve virtual interview mode.,
