Position: Event Manager

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and result-oriented Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of TKC – Karnavati Carnival 2025, one of Gujarat’s biggest trade shows and carnivals.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Strategy

• Develop and manage the complete event plan, timelines, and execution flow
• Coordinate stall layout, exhibitor placement, and ground planning
• Create and manage event checklists, SOPs, and duty charts

Vendor, Exhibitor & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with exhibitors, vendors, sponsors, artists, and agencies
• Manage logistics, manpower, stage activities, competitions, and technical setups
• Ensure smooth communication between internal departments and external partners

On-Ground Event Execution

• Lead the setup, operations, and overall event management
• Supervise event staff, volunteers, and supporting teams
• Ensure timely execution of all activity zones—food, kids’ zone, shopping arena, stage zone, etc.
• Handle problem-solving and emergency planning

Team Leadership & Reporting

• Assign and monitor tasks for event staff
• Take daily updates and prepare actionable reports
• Ensure event quality, discipline, and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Experience in event/exhibition management (mandatory)
• Strong communication in Gujarati, Hindi, and English
• Leadership, multitasking, and crisis-management skills
• Ability to handle large crowd events and multi-department coordination
• Comfortable working long/on-ground hours during event days
• Creative thinking with strong planning abilities
