Event Management Intern

Job Description You will support the planning and execution of SysAdvise events, from workshops and in-person sessions to partner-led experiences. This is not a shadow someone and take notes role. You will help shape the flow of events, manage logistics, coordinate with speakers, and keep things running on time. If you like order, pace, and people, you will enjoy this. Key Responsibilities - Assist in planning end-to-end event logistics: schedules, run of show, vendor coordination, and setup. - Work with the marketing team to ensure smooth promotional timelines, guest communications, and post-event follow-ups. - Coordinate speakers, partners, and internal teams before and during events. - Support venue research, attendee check-ins, tech requirements, and contingency planning. - Capture content on site (photos, short clips, takeaways) for social and post-event communication. - Maintain tracking sheets, timelines, and status updates to keep events on schedule. - Benchmark event formats, tools, and best practices to improve future experiences. Qualifications Required - Strong organizational skills and comfort with fast-paced work. - Clear communication, written and spoken. - Confidence working with teams, partners, and guests. - A calm, problem-solving approach when things shift. - Interest in operations, events, marketing, or community building. - Basic familiarity with Google Workspace, Slides, Sheets, and event tools (a plus, not a must).
