Join us as an eTrading Oversight Manager

• Well look to you to provide second line of defence (2LOD) oversight of algorithmic and electronic trading activities
• Youll be responsible for leading local activities around oversight of algorithmic and electronic trading risk management and control processes and practices globally
• This is a prominent role, where your ability to develop stakeholder relationships will be as important as your risk management skills
• We're offering this role at director level

Well look to you to provide 2LOD oversight of the management of risks associated with algorithmic and electronic trading. Well look to you to lead and deliver the local teams activities that are highly integrated in our oversight of electronic trading risks globally.

Youll also:

• Contribute to the delivery and validation of assessments of compliance with regulatory requirements on algorithmic and electronic trading
• Provide strategic direction to the business on the adequacy of their eTrading specific risk identification and mitigation strategies, frameworks and plans
• Undertake reviews of material risks and of adherence across all operational risk standards, using the outputs to inform debate and action with senior management
• Drive focus and action on building a strong level of resilience into critical algorithmic trading processes in the bank through influence and challenge at all levels

To excel in this role, youll have an understanding of operational and conduct risks relevant to algorithmic and electronic trading, including key technology processes, and a demonstrable track record in delivering appropriate oversight of these risks.

Youll also need:

• Experience with a proven track record of applying controls to manage algorithmic trading-related risk in a complex organisation
• Knowledge of the regulatory environment relevant to large, complex organisations with a particular focus on regulation relevant to algorithmic trading, framework design and deployment
• Experience of delivering across multiple businesses areas, involving complex stakeholder, process and technology issues
