ETP Operator

Job description

The ETP Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the effluent treatment plant (ETP) systems to ensure the proper treatment of wastewater and compliance with environmental regulations. The operator ensures that all processes are running smoothly, efficiently, and safely, and performs regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment malfunctions.

• Diploma or equivalent (additional technical certifications or diplomas in Environmental Engineering or a related field preferred).
• Proven experience as an ETP operator or in a similar role in wastewater treatment.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and environmental regulations.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to operate and maintain ETP machinery and equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills to address operational or technical issues.
• Strong communication skills to report problems, performance, and compliance.
• Ability to work in shifts and in varying weather conditions.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and hazard management.

Working Conditions:

• This role may require working in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Work will be performed in an industrial or outdoor environment, which may involve exposure to chemicals and other hazardous materials.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,499.67 - ₹30,012.99 per month
