Key Responsibilities

1. ETP Operation & Monitoring

• Operate and monitor ETP units Collection, Equalization, HRSCC, Aeration, Clarifier, Filter Press, UF, and RO.
• Check and record parameters like pH, flow rate, TSS, TDS, turbidity, and pressure.
• Adjust chemical dosing (lime, alum, polymer, etc.) as per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure smooth and continuous plant operation with minimal downtime.

2. HRSCC & Filter Press Operation

• Maintain proper coagulation, flocculation, and sludge management.
• Operate Filter Press for sludge dewatering and maintain filter efficiency.

3. UF & RO Operation

• Operate UF and RO units as per process needs.
• Monitor membrane performance, backwash, flushing, and CIP activities.
• Maintain records of RO parameters and chemical usage.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Record operating data hourly in logbooks or SCADA.
• Maintain chemical consumption and daily performance reports.
• Collect influent and effluent samples for analysis.

5. Maintenance & Safety

• Perform minor maintenance and housekeeping in ETP areas.
• Follow all safety and environmental protocols during chemical handling.
• Ensure treated water meets PCB standards.

Candidate Profile

• ITI / Diploma in Chemical / B.Sc. Chemistry or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in ETP / UF / RO operation.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment, sludge handling, and safety norms.
