Join our team as a ETL/ELT Test Engineer , where you'll play a key role in ensuring our data-driven decisions are backed by accurate, reliable, and validated datasets. ✅ What You'll Do: Develop and execute robust data validation and testing strategies for ETL/ELT pipelines. Write and optimize complex SQL queries to validate data across diverse sources and targets. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product owners to ensure high-quality data delivery. Work with cloud data platforms, especially Google BigQuery , to test large-scale datasets. Leverage scripting tools like Python or Shell to automate testing and validation tasks. Apply best practices in data governance , data warehousing , and Agile development . Provide expert guidance on data quality frameworks , ensuring consistency and compliance. 🎯 What We're Looking For: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in data testing, ETL/ELT testing, or data quality engineering. Strong experience with cloud data platforms , especially Google BigQuery . Proficiency in complex SQL development for deep data analysis and validation. Sound understanding of data quality, integrity, and testing methodologies . Experience handling large, complex datasets with a focus on performance and accuracy. Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium or TestNG (a plus). Working knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines , data warehouse concepts, and cloud-native architectures . Skilled in Python/Shell scripting for automating test and validation routines. Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and managing backlogs.
