Requirements:
Must have worked in a QA role for ETL/data transformation
Minimum 4 years of QA experience
Strong SQL skills
Should have analytical skills to understand complex requirements to do in depth data validation
Should be able to work independently to create artifacts such as test strategy, test plan etc.
Good understanding of data mapping and data requirements
Inclined to do rigorous and repeatable testing with enthusiasm to find bugs
Willing to do manual SQL QA work with complex queries
Intuitive and able to work independently
Strong communication skills are a must have
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The resource should be aware of data warehouse concepts.
Be familiar with data warehousing concepts like fact tables, dimension tables, schemas (star and snowflake), slowly changing dimensions (SCDs) and KPIs.
