Summary

ETL Developer (ADF)

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain
ETL solutions
using
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
.
Design, build, and deploy
data migration
workflows to Azure-based platforms.
Ensure
ETL code quality
, documentation, and adherence to Deloitte coding standards.
Work with
SQL Server databases
and design relational models.
Collaborate with
remote teams
to deliver solutions aligned with project goals.
Troubleshoot
and resolve ETL and data integration issues.
Provide
production support
and fix code-level issues as needed.
Participate in
architecture design
,
SDLC planning
, and
technical reviews
.
Support
data integration and big data projects
, applying best practices for performance and reliability.
Stay updated with
emerging data technologies
and ETL tools.

Technical Skills

Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Primary skill
Strong experience with
ETL tools
(e.g.,
SSIS
,
IBM DataStage
).
SQL Server
proficiency strong in T-SQL, stored procedures, optimization.
Knowledge of
cloud-based ETL design
,
data pipelines
, and
Azure environments
.
Experience with
Web Services (SOAP, XML, .NET)
and
Message Queue systems
preferred.
Familiarity with
Python
,
PowerShell
, or
VB Script
preferred.
Exposure to
Hadoop ecosystems
,
IBM Cognos Data Manager
, or
Alteryx
added advantage.
Knowledge of
data security tools
like
PGP
,
GlobalSCAPE CuteFTP
, or
Robo-FTP
– plus.
