About the Role

Python Developer (Junior-Mid level)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop

  Python-based automation scripts

  to streamline Scrum ceremonies (e.g., stand-up prep, auto-reminders for backlog grooming, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
• Build

  TFS/Azure DevOps hygiene checkers

  (identify missing story points, acceptance criteria, orphaned work items, etc.).
• Integrate automation outputs with

  MS Teams / Email

  for notifications and reminders.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and BAs to understand workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
• Ensure proper

  documentation & handover

  for internal teams to maintain and extend the automation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of Python development

  experience (automation, scripting focus).
• Hands-on experience with

  REST APIs

  (Azure DevOps/TFS API preferred).
• Familiarity with

  Agile/Scrum practices

  and tools.
• Experience with

  scheduling, notification bots, or workflow automation

  .
• Basic knowledge of Git and CI/CD workflows (for script deployment).
• Strong problem-solving skills, self-driven, and able to work independently in a contract setup.

Good to Have (Optional)

• Prior experience automating

  Agile ceremonies

  or

  project management tools

  (Jira, ADO, TFS).
• Experience integrating with

  Microsoft Teams / Slack / Outlook APIs

  .
• Knowledge of DevOps practices.

Engagement Details

• Contract Type:

  Short-term (2–3 months, extendable).

• Workload:

  ~20–25 hrs/week (flexible, depending on milestones).

• Compensation:

  Hourly or milestone-based (to be finalized).
