Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for data integration and transformation.
  • Implement and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow between systems.
  • Write and maintain SQL and T-SQL scripts for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Perform performance tuning and optimization of SSIS packages and database queries.
  • Manage version control using tools like Git or TFS and implement deployment strategies for SSIS packages.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, DBAs, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong expertise in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
  • In-depth knowledge of ETL processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL programming.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization for SSIS and SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git, TFS) and deployment strategies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SSRS or SSAS for reporting and analytics.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and BI tools.
  • Exposure to cloud-based data integration (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue).
  • Understanding of data governance and security practices.
