Internship Overview

legal and structured cybersecurity methodologies

Key Responsibilities

Perform
vulnerability scanning
and basic
penetration testing
on controlled lab environments
Detect and analyze
security weaknesses
in web apps, servers, and network systems
Use industry tools such as
Kali Linux, Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark, OWASP ZAP
Study and analyze network traffic for anomalies and potential intrusion attempts
Research
latest cyber threats, exploits, malware behavior, and attack patterns
Assist in
Incident Response
and Security Hardening simulations
Participate in
CTF (Capture The Flag)
challenges, lab tasks, and security assessments
Document findings and recommend solutions for improved security posture

Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in
Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related fields
Basic understanding of
networking, TCP/IP, HTTP, and OS internals
Familiarity with
Linux (Command-line)
and scripting (Python/Bash preferred)
Understanding of
OWASP Top 10
and common web vulnerabilities
Analytical thinking, curiosity, and a strong ethical approach to problem-solving
Passionate about
ethical hacking and network security
