Job Opening: Estimator – General Contractor (GC-Level Take-offs & Pricing)

About the Role

We are hiring an Estimator – General Contractor to join our estimation team for U.S.-based residential and commercial projects. This role focuses on multi-trade take-offs, preliminary pricing, and bid compilation at a General Contractor (GC) level.

As a GC-level Estimator, you will review entire project drawing sets, identify trade scopes, prepare quantity take-offs, compile subcontractor/vendor pricing, and support the creation of competitive bid packages.

This position requires prior hands-on experience in multi-trade estimation and the ability to manage cross-trade scope coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural, civil, MEP, and specialty drawings to identify all relevant scopes
• Perform trade-wise quantity take-offs (Concrete, Drywall, Finishes, Metals, Openings, etc.)
• Prepare comprehensive bid breakdowns and consolidate multi-trade BOQs
• Coordinate with subcontractors/vendors for updated pricing and clarifications
• Support bid strategy meetings with senior estimators and management
• Ensure accurate scope coverage and competitive pricing in GC-level bids
• Maintain organized documentation, estimation logs, and drawing registers

What We’re Looking For

• Degree/Diploma in Civil, or Architectural Engineering
• Hands-on estimation experience at GC level (multi-trade scope review and pricing)
• Strong understanding of U.S. construction drawings, specifications, and bid processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with tools like Bluebeam, OST, or similar
• Strong analytical and coordination skills across trades
• Fluent in English (written & spoken)
