Job Opening: Estimator – General Contractor (GC-Level Take-offs & Pricing) Location: Remote – Reporting Office: Indore, M.P. Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are hiring an Estimator – General Contractor to join our estimation team for U.S.-based residential and commercial projects. This role focuses on multi-trade take-offs, preliminary pricing, and bid compilation at a General Contractor (GC) level. As a GC-level Estimator, you will review entire project drawing sets, identify trade scopes, prepare quantity take-offs, compile subcontractor/vendor pricing, and support the creation of competitive bid packages. This position requires prior hands-on experience in multi-trade estimation and the ability to manage cross-trade scope coverage. Key Responsibilities Review architectural, structural, civil, MEP, and specialty drawings to identify all relevant scopes Perform trade-wise quantity take-offs (Concrete, Drywall, Finishes, Metals, Openings, etc.) Prepare comprehensive bid breakdowns and consolidate multi-trade BOQs Coordinate with subcontractors/vendors for updated pricing and clarifications Support bid strategy meetings with senior estimators and management Ensure accurate scope coverage and competitive pricing in GC-level bids Maintain organized documentation, estimation logs, and drawing registers What We’re Looking For Degree/Diploma in Civil, or Architectural Engineering Hands-on estimation experience at GC level (multi-trade scope review and pricing) Strong understanding of U.S. construction drawings, specifications, and bid processes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with tools like Bluebeam, OST, or similar Strong analytical and coordination skills across trades Fluent in English (written & spoken) Who Should Not Apply Candidates without prior GC-level estimation experience Applicants who have only worked in a single-trade estimation role and lack exposure to multi-trade scope review Professionals looking to “learn GC estimation on the job”
