Hiring: Estimator – Civil Engineer (Multi-Unit & Commercial Projects) 🏗️📐

Role Description:

• For each project, begin by reviewing

  plans, blueprints and the “Finish Schedule”

  to determine if the materials specified (granite, marble, quartz) fall under our scope of work.
• Accurately define scope before proceeding with take-offs to avoid errors or exclusions.
• Perform detailed take-offs using PlanSwift for countertops, backsplashes and edge details (laminated, mitre and standard).
• Thoroughly review all project documents associated with each bid or proposal, including but not limited to: Drawings, Specifications, Addenda, Schedules, Owner requirements and any related documents.
• Lead, train and mentor other estimators to ensure consistent accuracy and efficiency across all bids.
• Collaborate closely with project management and leadership teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality proposals.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).

• Hands-on estimating experience in the countertop industry is required.

• Experience in

  multi-unit projects is a strong plus

  .
• Ability to interpret

  finish schedules and drawings to determine material scope accurately

  .
• Proficiency in PlanSwift and AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
• Ability to work 5:00 PM – 2:30 AM IST (aligning with U.S. Eastern Standard Time).
• Extreme attention to detail, deep countertop knowledge, and a high degree of accountability.
