Hiring: Estimator - Civil Engineer (Multi-Unit & Commercial Projects) 🏗️📐 Company Description: A U.S.-based company, specializing in providing homeowners with premium countertops made from engineered and natural stones ( granite, marble, quartz ), is seeking an experienced civil engineer with an estimating background . Role Description: Review plans and project documents for each project to confirm whether the materials fall within our scope ( granite, marble and quartz only ). The first step is always to determine scope and schedule before proceeding. Perform accurate take-offs using PlanSwift, specifically for countertops, backsplashes and edge details (laminated, miter and standard). Thoroughly review all project documents associated with each bid or proposal, including but not limited to: Drawings, Specifications, Addenda, Schedules, Owner requirements and any other related documents . Lead, train, and manage other estimators to ensure consistent accuracy and efficiency across all bids. Collaborate closely with project management and leadership teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality proposals. Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field). Strong estimating experience (stone countertop industry candidates preferred). Proficiency in PlanSwift and AutoCAD . Proven ability to lead and develop teams . Ability to work 5:00 PM – 2:30 AM IST (aligning with U.S. Eastern Time). Detail-oriented, motivated, and committed to results .
