Hiring: Estimator – Civil Engineer (Multi-Unit & Commercial Projects) 🏗️📐 About Us: Artelye Marble & Granite (a U.S.-based company), specializes in providing general contractors (GCs) and developers with premium countertops made from engineered and natural stones (granite, marble, quartz). Role Description: For each project, begin by reviewing plans, blueprints and the “Finish Schedule” to determine if the materials specified (granite, marble, quartz) fall under our scope of work. Accurately define scope before proceeding with take-offs to avoid errors or exclusions. Perform detailed take-offs using PlanSwift for countertops, backsplashes and edge details (laminated, mitre and standard). Thoroughly review all project documents associated with each bid or proposal, including but not limited to: Drawings, Specifications, Addenda, Schedules, Owner requirements and any related documents. Lead, train and mentor other estimators to ensure consistent accuracy and efficiency across all bids. Collaborate closely with project management and leadership teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality proposals. Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field). Hands-on estimating experience in the countertop industry is required. Experience in multi-unit projects is a strong plus . Ability to interpret finish schedules and drawings to determine material scope accurately . Proficiency in PlanSwift and AutoCAD (2D & 3D). Ability to work 5:00 PM – 2:30 AM IST (aligning with U.S. Eastern Standard Time). Extreme attention to detail, deep countertop knowledge, and a high degree of accountability.
