Role Overview:

As an Estimation Engineer, you will play a key role in the project pre-bid and tendering process. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and supporting project planning for infrastructure and EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for EPC projects in water supply, sewerage, and related infrastructure domains.
• Study and analyze tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and validate BOQs.
• Source and analyze rates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams to gather inputs for estimations.
• Evaluate and compile supplier/subcontractor quotations for costing.
• Support the preparation of bid proposals, technical submissions, and commercial offers.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities, project risks, and value engineering options.
• Maintain and update cost databases and estimation tools for future references.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in estimation for EPC/Infrastructure projects, preferably in Water Supply & Sewerage sectors.
• Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX, MS Excel, AutoCAD).
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost analysis, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with CPWD/SOR/DWSR and other relevant government schedules and codes.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
