The Opportunity

We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Estimation & Proposals Engineer to become a key member of our team. This is not just a back-office role; you will be at the very heart of our business development process. Your work in preparing accurate, competitive, and timely proposals will directly impact our ability to win projects and grow as a company. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of precision and integrity.

Your Core Responsibilities Will Be:

• Detailed Technical Analysis: Carefully study tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications to fully understand the project scope and client requirements for systems like CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarms, PA, and BMS.
• BOQ Pricing and Costing: You will be given the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from the tender documents. Your main task will be to accurately fill in the pricing for each line item after conducting detailed cost analysis.
• Accurate Cost Estimation: Conduct thorough cost estimations for all required materials, labor, and overheads to ensure your BOQ pricing is both competitive and profitable.
• Vendor Sourcing & Negotiation: Proactively connect with our network of OEMs and suppliers to source the best possible pricing for technically compliant equipment. Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with our vendors.
• Proposal & Tender Submission: Compile all technical and commercial data into clear, professional, and compelling proposals. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and compliant submission of all tender documents.
• Team Collaboration: Work in close partnership with our sales and technical teams, providing the critical data they need and contributing to a collaborative and successful team environment.

What We Are Looking For in a Candidate:

• Experience: 1 to 4 years of direct, relevant experience in an estimation, tendering, or pre-sales role within the ELV / Security Systems industry.
• Technical Knowledge: A strong practical understanding of ELV systems is essential. You must be knowledgeable about CCTV, Access Control Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, and their core components.
• Essential Skills:
• High proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory; you should be comfortable creating and managing complex cost sheets.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of your work.
• A proactive and sincere work ethic, with the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
• Education: A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation).
• Commitment: A genuine interest in building a long-term career in the security and automation industry. This is a full-time, on-site position at our office in Badarpur, New Delhi.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
