Estimating Engineer Events and Exhibition

Role Overview: You will be joining Visual Citi, Inc. as an Estimation Engineer for Events and Exhibitions. Your main responsibility will be to accurately calculate costs associated with manufacturing and installing retail display fixtures and signage projects. This role requires a strong understanding of materials, fabrication processes, installation procedures, and industry best practices. You must possess exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze project specifications, architectural drawings, design renderings, and client requirements to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for materials, labor, fabrication, and installation. - Develop detailed cost breakdowns for various components such as display fixtures, signage, and associated hardware. - Assist in value engineering to optimize costs without compromising quality. - Maintain and update a comprehensive cost database with current market pricing and material availability. - Collaborate with design, production, and sales teams to ensure timely, accurate, and competitive estimates. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in estimating within the retail display, signage, or related fabrication industry. - Proven track record of accurately estimating costs for diverse projects. - Experience with material takeoffs, cost analysis, and value engineering. - Strong understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and installation procedures for retail display and signage. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, design renderings, and technical specifications. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. - Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering). - Excellent communication in English, time management skills, adaptability to fast-paced environments, and strong ethical conduct.
