Estate Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the coffee estate and other plantation crops.
• Develop and implement crop plans including planting, maintenance, harvesting, and post-harvest processing.
• Supervise field staff, laborers, and contractors ensuring productivity and discipline.
• Monitor crop health, conduct pest and disease control, and implement agronomic practices.
• Maintain farm equipment, irrigation systems, and infrastructure on the estate.
• Ensure compliance with agricultural standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Maintain records of inputs, yields, labor, expenses, and other key metrics.
• Coordinate with external agencies, suppliers, buyers, and local authorities when required.
• Explore and implement sustainable farming practices and modern agricultural techniques.
• Prepare regular reports on crop performance and estate status for management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agri)
• 2–5 years of experience in plantation or estate management preferred
• Knowledge of coffee cultivation and plantation crop management is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage field teams effectively.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Agri-tech tools is a plus.
• Willingness to live on or near the estate and work in rural/agricultural settings.
