Error Manager(QA)

Role Overview: As an Error Manager, you will be responsible for prioritizing and assigning defects during the feature development phase or maturation phase of the program. You will work closely with the Delivery QA lead to establish the appropriate workflow in JIRA for defect management and ensure continuous working of defects by removing blockers whenever possible. Key Responsibilities: - Daily prioritization and assignment of defects - Establishing workflow in JIRA for defect management - Removing blockers to ensure continuous working of defects - Creating and supporting JIRA dashboards for defect work - Raising alarms for defect metrics not being met - Conducting RCA when program targets on defects are not being met - Escalating performance issues when KPI goals are not being met - Implementing process improvements for defect work - Managing backlog of defects for the maturation teams - Facilitating triage meetings - Scheduling defects accordingly and monitoring defect closure through put - Representing the program for periodic health review within the delivery team - Providing metrics to evaluate the state of the system, bug fixing velocity, bug closing velocity, and prediction models Qualifications Required: - Skills in management, customer interaction, metrics evaluation - Proficiency in JIRA, data analysis, bug triaging, and process improvement - Strong analytical skills for defect management and RCA Please note that the company did not provide any additional details in the job description.
