Job Description

Job Purpose:

To ensure smooth operation of the ERP system by providing functional and technical support to end-users, coordinating with ERP vendors, managing data integrity, and driving timely updates and improvements to support institutional operations across centers.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide daily support to ERP users across departments such as Admissions, Academics, Finance, HR, and Admin.
  • Troubleshoot ERP-related issues including user access, data entry, workflow errors, and process gaps.
  • Log and track support tickets and ensure timely resolution.

User Training & Documentation

  • Conduct onboarding and refresher training on ERP modules for new and existing users.
  • Create and maintain training manuals, SOPs, and FAQs to improve user adoption.
  • Support users in adhering to standardized ERP processes and data entry guidelines.

System Maintenance & Enhancements

  • Assist in testing new features, upgrades, and patches released by the vendor.
  • Coordinate between internal teams and ERP vendors for enhancements and bug fixing.
  • Maintain data quality by identifying inconsistencies and initiating corrective actions.

Reporting & Data Management

  • Generate standard and custom reports for business stakeholders.
  • Support MIS requirements by ensuring data accuracy and timely availability.
  • Help build dashboards and performance-monitoring tools based on institutional needs.

Compliance & Security

  • Monitor correct user authorization and enforce data security practices.
  • Support periodic audits and backups as guided by the IT department.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of ERP functionality (Education ERP preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, databases, and system workflows is an added advantage.
  • Analytical thinking with problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication and user-handling skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work with cross-functional teams.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in ERP support, preferably in education sector.
  • Experience with ERP software for training institutes/colleges is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel to multiple centers when needed.
  • Flexibility to support during admission peaks and critical deadlines.
