ERP - Senior. Specialist - PLM(PDM)

As a ERP - Senior Specialist - PLM(PDM) at NTT DATA in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, your role involves designing, building, and deploying SAP-based ERP solutions. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements, preparing as-is to be, making configuration changes, managing data conversion processes, and training end users. Your tasks will also include managing the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) System, which tracks product development from concept to production. Here are the key responsibilities: - Estimate, design, and deliver solutions independently - Document functional specification, design specification, and development requests - Identify gaps, issues, and provide work around solutions - Collaborate with stakeholders such as Business and IT clients both onsite and offshore - Participate in upgrade activities - Communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage timelines and action items effectively In terms of technical and professional expertise, you are expected to have: - Solid SAP configuration experience in SAP PPM and PDM areas, including knowledge of Opentext, DMS, and Workflow - Expertise in customizing and delivering functional specifications for enhancements of SAP PLM solution, particularly on PLM Web UI - Experience in PLM modules like Recipe Development, SAP Specification Database, SAP Document Management, SAP Engineering Change Management, SAP Workflow, Bill of Materials, and Data Migration - Experience working on SAP PDM/PLM Consultant with at least two end-to-end SAP implementation projects - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team and interact directly with US clients Additionally, you will be required to provide L1 and L2 support for Application Maintenance engagement, handle access, passwords, application incidents, user requests, and interface issues. You should be able to work in a 10x5 model on working days, be flexible for weekend on-call, and support disaster recovery and BCP as needed. Your responsibilities will also include documenting support processes, standard operational procedures, and support reference manuals.
