ERP - Senior. Specialist - PLM(PDM)

As an ERP - Senior Specialist - PLM(PDM) at NTT DATA in HYDERABAD, Telangana, India, your role involves designing, building, and deploying SAP-based ERP solutions. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements, preparing as-is to be, making configuration changes, managing Data conversion processes, training end users, and addressing end users" day-to-day queries. Additionally, you will manage the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) System to facilitate and track product development from concept through production. Your key responsibilities include: - Estimating, designing, and delivering solutions independently - Documenting functional specification, design specification, and Development requests - Identifying gaps, issues, and providing work around solutions - Working with stakeholders such as Business and IT clients onsite and offshore - Participating in upgrade activities - Communicating project status effectively, escalating issues, managing timelines, and action items Your technical and professional expertise should include: - Solid SAP configuration experience in SAP PPM and PDM areas, including Opentext, DMS, and Workflow knowledge - Customizing and delivering functional specifications for enhancements of SAP PLM solution, especially on PLM Web UI - Experience in PLM modules like Recipe Development, SAP Specification Database, SAP Document Management (EZ DMS), SAP Engineering Change Management, SAP workflow, Bill of Materials, and Data Migration - Working on interfaces and integration with 3rd party systems - Working on at least two end-to-end SAP implementation projects as an SAP PDM/PLM Consultant - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and interact directly with the US client for requirements In terms of general requirements, you will be expected to: - Provide L1 and L2 support for Application Maintenance engagements, including handling access, password, sign-on issues, application downtime incidents, user requests, and interface problems - Document support processes, standard operational procedures, and support reference manuals - Work in a 10x5 model (1.30 pm to 11.30 pm IST) on working days and be on-call for Hi-Sev/Hi-Pri tickets on weekends - Support disaster recovery and BCP as needed - Conduct Root cause analysis on repeated support issues, provide continuous improvements, and automate manual processes - Collaborate with stakeholders both internally and externally - Be ready and flexible to be cross-trained on interfacing apps, additional skills, and tools for improved customer service - Escalate issues to Lead/PM/DM in a timely manner About NTT DATA: NTT DATA is a trusted global innovator of business and technology services with a commitment to helping clients innovate, optimize, and transform for long-term success.
