ERP Functional Consultant (Baan V or Infor LN)

You will be working as an ERP Functional Consultant (Baan V / Infor LN) IT at Flex's Chennai location. Your role will involve: Role Overview: - Creating specifications for the development process and developing applications within Baan V/Infor LN/Mule API. - Supporting developers in creating solutions based on requirements and specifications. - Providing functional queries support to developers during the development phase of Infor ERP solutions. - Testing and documenting software solutions to ensure proper functionality. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements. - Collaborating with business users to receive User acceptance documentation. - Preparing Process documentation of Baan V/Infor LN/Integration solutions. - Advising requestors on configuring the system to implement solutions. - Troubleshooting and resolving LN/Baan application issues/requests. - Conducting AS-IS & TO-BE analysis of Infor LN/Baan5 solutions requiring development. - Offering support for documented solutions to peers within Infor ERP space. - Assisting with full site implementations, upgrades, pilot testing, data validation, development of data transformation rules, and post-implementation support. - Arranging & participating in knowledge sharing sessions within or across peers. Key Responsibilities: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or related fields. - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in ERP and 2-3 years of experience in Baan / Infor LN. - Good knowledge of Infor LN/Baan5 logistics modules (Order Management/Warehousing/Planning/Procurement/Finance). - Experience in Integration testing between ERP & Middleware. - Experience in ERP as an end user or consultant. - Writing functional specifications for the development of Baan5/Infor LN finance solutions. - Testing solutions (unit & regression). - Troubleshooting ERP anomalies and process issues. - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical audiences. - Self-teaching ability and a desire for continuous learning. - Aptitude in understanding both business and IT aspects in problem-solving. - Day shift timings: 8am-5pm / 11am-8pm.
