Job Description – ER Coordinator (Emergency Department)

• Coordinate patient flow in the Emergency Room for quick and efficient care.
• Assist in triage support and ensure timely registration and documentation.
• Act as the communication link between doctors, nurses, and support teams.
• Monitor bed availability, emergency resources, and ER readiness.
• Maintain accurate records of ER admissions, procedures, and patient updates.
• Support emergency protocols, code situations, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide clear communication to patient families as per hospital guidelines.
• Qualities:-
• 1-2years of experience as ER-coordinator in any hospital.
• Good communication skills to talk with doctors, nurses, patients, and families.
• Stays calm and focused during emergencies.
• Able to multitask and manage patient flow smoothly.
• Pays attention to details and keeps accurate records.
• Shows empathy and handles patients respectfully.
