Job Description

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the Emergency Room (ER) to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.

Act as the primary point of contact for ER staff, facilitating communication and collaboration among the medical team.

Oversee patient flow and prioritize cases based on severity and availability of resources.

Maintain accurate and timely records of all ER activities, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and legal requirements.

Liaise with other hospital departments to coordinate patient transfers and ensure continuity of care.

Develop and implement protocols and procedures to improve ER efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Provide support and guidance to ER staff, including training and mentoring new team members.

Participate in emergency preparedness planning and drills to ensure staff readiness for all situations.
Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in healthcare management, nursing, or a related field.

Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an emergency room environment.

Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Proficiency in using medical and administrative software applications.

Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
