Equity Dealer

Key Responsibilities

1. Equity Dealing & Order Execution

• Execute equity and derivative trades accurately within regulatory guidelines
  
• Ensure timely, error-free order placement through authorized trading platforms
  
• Track real-time market movements and update clients to support informed decisions
  

2. Client Relationship Management

• Build and manage strong relationships with retail and HNI clients
  
• Understand client investment objectives, risk appetite, and financial needs
  
• Address client queries related to portfolios, account statements, and trading strategies
  

3. Advisory Support

• Provide insights on equity markets, trading opportunities, and strategies
  
• Recommend suitable financial products and portfolio realignments
  
• Support clients with risk management through diversification and hedging strategies
  

4. Revenue Generation

• Achieve individual and branch-level revenue targets through brokerage and advisory income
  
• Drive upselling and cross-selling of equity and allied products such as mutual funds, insurance, and other investment solutions
  

5. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure all trades comply with SEBI, NSE/BSE, and internal compliance norms
  
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and trade executions for audits
  
• Monitor client trading activity to manage risks such as margin shortfalls and excessive speculation
  

6. Market Monitoring

• Stay updated on equity market trends, economic indicators, and corporate actions
  
• Analyze market news and share actionable insights with clients proactively
  

Reporting To

• Branch Manager / Cluster Head
  

Academic Requirements

• Graduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related discipline
  
• NISM certification preferred
  

Experience

• 25 years of experience in equity dealing, broking, or wealth management
