POSITION OVERVIEW

Oracle EDMCS Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement

  EDMCS applications

  for managing enterprise data hierarchies and metadata.
• Migrate metadata and hierarchies from

  DRM to EDMCS

  , ensuring smooth integration and synchronization.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to design and maintain

  data models, hierarchies, and workflows

  .
• Manage

  data governance

  processes, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and standardization across systems.
• Develop

  data mappings, validations, and transformations

  between EDMCS and downstream systems (e.g., EPM, ERP).
• Implement

  security and access controls

  within EDMCS environments.
• Support

  data harmonization initiatives

  and resolve hierarchy discrepancies.
• Provide

  user training, documentation

  , and post-implementation support.
• Participate in upgrades, patches, and performance tuning activities for EDMCS/DRM environments.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Oracle EDMCS (Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service)

  .
• Working knowledge of

  Oracle DRM (Data Relationship Management)

  and

  DRG (Data Relationship Governance)

  .
• Experience with

  data modeling, metadata design, and master data architecture

  .
• Good understanding of

  EPM/ERP integrations

  (HFM, FCCS, Planning, ERP Cloud, etc.).
• Proficiency in

  hierarchy management, workflow design, and validations

  .
• Familiarity with

  Smart View, Data Management, and EPM Automate

  .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

Good to Have:

• Oracle EDMCS certification or training.
• Experience with

  migration from DRM to EDMCS

  .
• Exposure to

  data governance frameworks

  and

  MDM tools

  .
• Knowledge of scripting (Groovy, SQL, or REST APIs) for automation and integrations.
