Environmental Health Safety Specialist

As an Environmental Health Safety Specialist, your role involves ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety regulations by implementing workplace safety measures, health programs, and EHS initiatives. Your day-to-day tasks will include creating and delivering safety training, conducting workplace inspections, identifying risks, and developing corrective actions. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and fostering a culture of safety within the organization. This is an on-site contract role based in Gurugram. Key Responsibilities: - Create and deliver safety training programs - Conduct workplace inspections to identify potential risks - Develop and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks - Maintain accurate records related to safety measures - Promote a culture of safety within the organization Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Workplace Safety practices - Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health standards - Experience in conducting Safety Training and raising awareness on workplace safety - Excellent analytical skills for identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies - Ability to ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations - Bachelors degree in Environmental Health, Safety, Engineering, or a related field - Certifications in EHS or related fields (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are an asset - Strong interpersonal and communication skills Additionally, you will need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders within the organization.,
