Job Description

Role & responsibilities Implement EHS standards according to Shapoorji Pallonji EHS Standards and contract requirements for the project. Develop health and safety plans ensuring compliance with legal, customer, and organizational guidelines. Implement and monitor EHS Management Systems as per ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, including corporate and customer requirements. Identify workplace hazards and establish control measures including but not limited to Electrical works Installation, testing & commissioning), Hot Work, Height Work, Civil Work, Mechanical and manual material handling, confined space, machine safety. Ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the availability of safety equipment on project sites. Guide and train site personnel on EHS practices and safety protocols. Identify training needs and coordinate EHS training programs across different levels. Conduct EHS assessments, identify unsafe acts, conditions, near misses, and ensure prompt corrective and preventive actions. Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions to the Project Manager Preferred candidate profile Diploma / Degree in Engineering with Diploma in Industrial Safety from state Board 8-13 Years of Experience
