Environment Manager

Role Overview: As an Environment Manager at NTT DATA, you will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of IT environments, including Development, Test, User Acceptance Testing, and Production, across various applications and systems. Your role will involve collaborating closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless environment transitions and smooth deployments. Key Responsibilities: - Provisioning and Configuration: Setting up new environments, software, and network configurations based on project requirements. - Cloning and Refreshing: Creating copies of existing environments for testing and development purposes while ensuring data consistency and integrity. - Patching and Upgrades: Applying software updates and security patches to maintain environment stability and security. - Decommissioning: Securely retiring obsolete environments to free up resources and minimize costs. - Version Alignment: Ensuring consistency in software versions across different environments to avoid compatibility issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage environment availability, implement security protocols, and address conflicts promptly. - Implement automation using scripting and tools to streamline environment setup, deployment, and maintenance tasks. - Monitor environment usage, performance metrics, and resource allocation to identify areas for optimization and implement strategies for improved performance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience in managing IT environments, preferably in a complex, multi-application setting. - Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools. - Strong communication skills.
