Job Summary:

The Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Consultant is responsible for advising organizations on environmental, health, and safety policies and practices. The consultant evaluates compliance with regulations, identifies risks, and develops strategies to promote a safe and sustainable workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of workplace environments to identify potential health, safety, and environmental risks.
Develop, review, and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs aligned with local, national, and international regulations.
Advise management on EHS best practices and legal compliance requirements.
Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Deliver training and awareness programs to employees and management on EHS topics.
Support the organization in achieving environmental sustainability goals, including waste management, pollution control, and resource conservation.
Assist in preparing reports and documentation for regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
Stay updated on changes in legislation, standards, and best practices related to environment, health, and safety.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into business operations and projects.
Provide emergency response planning and support as needed.
